Hi everyone!!
Hope your Christmas was merry and bright and that Santa was good to you.
We are at our destination San Lucas Cove RV Park. All set up and ready to relax.
Had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner potluck with the neighbors at the restaurant and Wayne and Mary made a great breakfast for all.
Enjoyed seeing and talking with the kids (of course my eyes got glistening when saying good bye) and family members on messenger. Love it.
We had no problems on the way here except my paddle board decided to go flying! That's a big bummer.
Here are some pictures of what we have seen so far.
Hugs to All

L.A. CETTO WINERY
A large commercial winery. It has been around
since 1928 and is one of the oldest and biggest
wineries in the region.
Valle de Guadalupe
a Harvest Host member so stayed the night for free,
well except for the wine we bought

Not sure what the road is like but I bet
the view is spectactular.

Cabins at one of the wineries

These cabins at a winery look like wine barrels.
Wish we could have taken a look inside.

Whale Watching in Laguna Ojo de Liebre south of Guererro Negro

Driving to the camp from Hwy 1 is 25 k going thru the salt flats for Guerrero Negro which produces 10% of the worlds salt.
nice quite RV camp and beautiful view of the laguna. We were able to see whale spouts from out camp and from the restaurant.
We did have a friendly mother and baby that stayed by the boat and played for a long time. Mr. Monkey really got to ride one again and he was excited. No hugs and kisses but lots of petting and blow hole showers. They are so soft and the baby loved to be petting on the head. Baby would come up head first and stay for awhile watching us until going down. The gray whales are the most amazing graceful creatures I have seen.

Laguna Ojo de Liebre-name of a U.S. Whaler, the Black Warrior which sank offshore in the 1850's. After depleting the population of gray whales by the late 19th century the hunters moved on and remarkable, the whales were able to recover.

At Viscaino tonight off to Campo Rene tomorrow. Fishing, beaching walking and maybe a beer and tequila! Will post in a few days.
Adios 🇲🇽
South of San Quintin walked on the beach in the morning and as the tide was going out found clams laying on the beach. Should have let them purge much longer😜

Catalina
All around are spectacular giant boulders and impressive dessert plants. Cardon Cathi, elephant trees, curios. And yahoo we found Mr Monkey before we left he is so happy he gets to go again. Chapo buried him in a wood pile at home. He was missing for a year and seems to be just fine.
Pictures of Catavina and the eclipse. Won't see this one again. Hum 500 yrs!
