January 24, 2015.  Guerrero Negro to Mulege -Santispack for camping.
Chilly and windy and showers. Only one day of sun. On Thursday afternoon the clouds didn't look nice, the wind picked up and there where big drops of rain. I said Jon let's break camp and go to Cliffs Place where it is warm and dry. So we did. Jon had the dinghy in the water, didn't use the anchor...... The neighbor hollers at us that the dinghy is floating away. Jon runs out to catch it and gets stung by a small ray. Well after soaking his ankle in hot hot water for an hour all is better. Glad we made it it Cliffs because it rained all night!

Had a great experience with the dolphins on Sunday. We were out in the dinghy and came across a pod of about 500 dolphins. They were swimming under, beside and in front of us jumping all around. I got a video and will try and figure out how to get it here. We were with them for about 20 minutes could have stayed hours. They seemed to come when the motor was running when we turned it off they went away.

The weather this year is about 20 degrees colder and so is the water. We have heard this year is not normal as was last year.

Today we are off to Constitucion then Los Barriles where is will be sunny on Tuesday!
Will watch the Seahawks on Sunday at one the parties.
Go Hawks!
Until the next time....
Love you all
Hugs

BAJA 2015

It sure is dark and cold at 5:30 in the morning,
Off to the Baja January 16, 2015!!

Avila Beach CA. Stayed with Dave and Barb for a few days and had a wonderful time. Thanks.

Had an unexpected 3 day stay in Chula Vista. The dinghy motor that just got a $$$ tune up would not start so...... more $$$. Know it is like brand new... We could have bought a new one with the $$$ that we spent oh well.

Highway 1 north of Ensenada that slide down the hill last year has been fixed so we didn't have to detour. Nice the see the coastline. It was windy thru the Catavina area. Other than that just a lot of beautiful scenery and those amazing mountains. Can't wait to see them close up.
We spent the lst night in San Quintin and last night in Guerrero Negro at the Cowboy Hotel. Now off to Baja de Los Angeles for a week of camping, watching the Seawhawk, camping then off to Los Barriles.

I am having technical difficulties with the pictures so will work on that. More for you all to look forward to.

Will be back in about a week.

Love and Hugs

3/18/14 Last Day in the Baja

Well today is our last day in the Baja will be crossing the border about 10 this morning. We have had an incredible time, met incredible people, saw incredible places, did incredible things that we will remember forever. Need to starting planning for our next adventure here.
So I wonder if when we get in the states driving down the highways with lost of cars (here on the highways it was 1 every 10 minutes) if we will put on our flashers to notify oncoming traffic there is a cow, goat, donkey or other hazard in the road or turn on our left turn signal to let the car behind you know that it is ok to pass? We shall see.
We will be in Yuma tonight staying with Wes &Toni then on to Ed & Kathys, then moving to Phoenix for a few days with Jon & Karen and whoever else is around. Then up to Lake Havasu to visit with Lee & Ruth if they aren't to busy watching the spring breakers!! Then off to Death Valley where we will met up with Nick & Karen for a few days then...........home

Hugs to all

San Felipe. I love this place!!!

We met Clay & Beth and Bob & Connie in Guerro Negro, met again in LA Bay and Gonzaga Bay.
Jon caught lots of fish and they invited us to dinner at their place (well maybe we invited ourselves)  in San Felipe. What great friends thanks so much for the invite. It is such a small world Bob and I went to school together and friends boated to Hat Island.

Bahia San Luis Gonzaga.
Popular with private pilots and experienced Baja adventurers. There are a few homes each with a private plane.
It seems like I take a lot of beach, sunrise, sunsets and fish pictures. Well guess cuz that's about it and lovin it all.

Time to leave for our new adventure

Flowering cactus

The mountains are just spectacular!!
Right after I took this picture I moved my foot and a cactus chunk rolled into my foot and I couldn't move. The needles where about 4 inches long and fat and 6 of them stuck in my foot about  1/4 inch. Jon pulled them out and also got some pokes. Sure glad they didn't have barbs on them.

The road to Cocos Corner. It was a slow road, stutter bumps, big rocks, ca yo s and cliffs. It took about 1 1/2 hrs to go 17 miles

Now that's a big pair of of undies
