Hola from San Ignacio B.C.S., Mexico
Wednesday March 11,2015

All is well here and hope the same with all of you.

We were headed to Magdalena Bay for whale watching but......to much darn rain and the trip was cancelled. So we headed to Aqua Verde and camped at Rancho Cosme. We had a four walled palapa with a roof and a door and there was no charge to stay. It was great. Bought fresh made goat cheese and some jewelry from some of the family. Walked on the beach rock road that you can only drive on at low tide out to the hot springs on the peninsula. Incredible!! The mountains were right there and it I didn't know we could have been somewhere in the Himalays. Camped for 4 days then off to Loreto for a night, Requeson for 4 nights now in San Ignacio for 2 and whale watching tomorrow.

Well tomorrow we will be leaving Los Barriles. Thanks Nick for letting us stay at your place it is wonderful. So sorry we missed you.

2 Yakima boxes, 2 paddle boards, 2 boogie boards, 1 Mr Monkey and 1 trailer with dinghy.
Mr Monkey said he wanted to go for a ride on another whale so we are on our way to Magdalena Bay on the Pacific for 2 days. We are going with Magdalena Bay Whale tours if you want to look at the website and what we will doing. I will post pics on Tuesday, if internet cooperates.

Jon, Cindy and Chapo

Taking a day drive up the old coast road -or cow path- from Los Barriles to Los Planos. A real experience to say the least!

Just a small house with a wonder infinity pool

This is taken about 300 feet above the water. The road is one lane, hill one side cliff the other.

Looking back towards Los Barriles

Another small Casa. Really 6 garage doors

Looks like a great place to stay

This is a good road

After Rock Bottom the road look like a cow path in places.
There where lots of large rocks to climb over. There are no pictures because I was holding on and looking at the floor in the back seat a lot!!!!
Didn't know Monty was a rock crawler.
This was one of the most daring things we have done. There was nowhere to turn around and hoped there was no one exploring like us!

Looking towards The Bay of Dreams

Not good road!

Getting Better

Awesome!!!  See that town of Los Planos.
Can't wait to kiss the asphalt or at least smoother dirt.
