2/1/14 we left 4 weeks ago today



Mr Monkey made it to Cabo and got a ride on a jet ski







This guy had a jet pack thing on his back.

Took a turn down a newly paved road and found this. Not sure what it is but it was big.


This truck was in front of us. He is hauling a sand screen. It was much wider that the trailer, see the red hard hat on the left, that was his flag. On the right the screen was at times just above the cement post roadside markers and sometimes not. They go poof poof band when the explode or get their tops knocked off.


Tropic of Cancer. We are 1/8th the way around the world.

Spent the night in Ciudad Constitucion left Thursday morning and it was foggy




Coming into LaPaz





Major shopping center. Had to stop at Home Depot for some boards to support the skybox.

6 lanes in LaPaz. Last time we were there it was dirt

Mr Monkey made it it Los Barriles with Chuck and Debbie

Had a wonderful dinner at Carlie & Spencers







Spencer. They have a beautiful home. Maybe they will adopt us!

Mr Monkey got to go on a kayak ride. We set out at 9am for 2 1/2 hours by the time we started back the wind was blowing out a was the tide . It was a good workout to get back. Saw an angle fish, small fish and a florescent blue little fish.

Leaving Mulege' today for parts south.

This is Mission Santa Rosalia de Mulege' one of the earliest mission established (1705-1828) by the Jesuits in Baja California










Made it to Playa Sanispak for camp in the north end of Bahia Concepcion. Another beautiful place
